A Secret Santa went to Reading, Pennsylvania, reportedly because it was the poorest city in America, recently reported the Good News Network. His goal was to hand out $20,000 in cash to random people in thrift stores, laundromats and bus stops who looked like they could use a helping hand. He asked only that the recipients pass on a little kindness to someone else.
You can watch him doing this in a short video:
You might not have cash available to hand out. But you certainly can spread kindness around. In the workplace, on the street, in stores, at home. . . . Some times the extra stress of the Season can make you short tempered and insensitive. It shouldn’t be that way. Christmas is the time to spread good will and kindness.
Here is my challenge to you. For the rest of December take a moment in the morning to dream up ways in which you could spread kindness to at least 3 persons every day. One of those could be a complete stranger. Do this and not only will you elicit smiles from others, you will feel yourself much more relaxed and happy.
I would love to hear the stories you collect in doing this!
