Today I was listening to NPR Talk of the Nation. The program was about Transformation: How to reinvent an institution. They had invited a couple of leaders who had been successful in transforming their organizations. One was the president of an educational institution, and the other the CEO of a medical institution. I want to share with you in the next few posts my take on their advice, in no particular order.
Today’s secret for successful change:
Take action! Make things happen, as fast as you can.
Take action! Make things happen, as fast as you can.
Both leaders agreed that a plan and a vision are important, but above all, what makes change happen is ACTION. Make sure that every day you take action toward transformation. Make sure that everybody involved in the change process takes small successful steps toward change every day.
